New technologies. New requirements. New standards.

The requirements for construction products continue to increase – to ensure that you know whether your products such as doors, windows, gates and more meet these requirements, our Technical Center is at your side with its test rigs and experienced test engineers.

Within the scope of our expertise, we work in compliance with ISO 17025. In addition, we cooperate with renowned testing institutes in order to provide comprehensive, customer-specific services.

Furthermore, we actively participate in various standards committees, ensuring that we always operate in line with the latest state of the art.

In addition to voluntary sound insulation comparison measurements by PTB, our Technical Center is committed to meeting the highest standards (see information below). This includes regular independent inspections and calibrations of the test rigs as well as the available technical equipment and training of the test engineers. Alongside a modern technical standard, this guarantees the reproducibility of measurements and provides our customers with maximum reliability of results.

In our corporate group, we have learned to be a reliable partner for our customers. With us, agreements such as neutrality, confidentiality, impartiality, and integrity apply – without compromise. We are committed to quality, because good customers deserve the best service.

Successfully participated in PTB sound insulation comparison tests

On a voluntary basis, the Technical Center took part in the reference measurements for “airborne sound” carried out by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB). These measurements are based on comprehensive reviews of sound insulation comparison tests conducted across all test centers accredited to issue general building authority test certificates. For evaluation, the test center’s results were compared with a reference value as well as critical limits.

The evaluation of the PTB results showed that the requirements of the sound insulation comparison tests were fully met. This means that the Technical Center meets the highest requirements in terms of acoustic testing in Germany, which are verified anew every three years.

The Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) is one of the leading institutes of metrology and is the highest authority for all matters of measurement in the Federal Republic of Germany.

The basis of the comparison measurements are the “Guidelines of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) for Sound Insulation Comparison Measurements” (version June 1999) as well as the applicable standards for the respective measurement procedures.

The guidelines were established by PTB in agreement with the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt) and the Association of Material Testing Institutes (VMPA).
