NR-32 UniSafe® Glass
Glass doors are in vogue and are widely used as shop fronts in shopping centres, doctors' surgeries, care homes, offices and public facilities. However, glass doors in particular can cause serious injuries if fingers get caught on the sharp-edged glass profiles. To ensure safety here - whether this is required by law through the accident insurance companies or building operators want to protect against injuries - athmer finger protection solutions offer the ideal protection for glass doors of all hinge types.
With the NR-32 UniSafe® glass variants and the BSG1/BSG2 hinge-side safety profiles, athmer has developed an architecturally consistent safety solution for the secondary closing edge of all-glass doors. The glass solutions can be fitted to timber and metal frames as well as glass side elements and completely cover the hinges.

Protective profiles for glass doors
The hinge-side protective profile BSG1 or BSG2, which is installed in combination with the protective profile BU-K+, was designed for all standard all-glass door hinges and is notched to match the hinge. This is also possible on the opposite hinge side with a relining profile and the NR-32 UniSafe® finger protection roller blind as a set to cover the counter hinge plates. The protective profiles and relining mouldings are pre-equipped with a special adhesive tape and can therefore be quickly glued to the door leaf without marking or tools.
All profiles are made of anodised aluminium and are available in the standard colours C-0 or C-31 and in lengths of 1,950 mm or made to measure. Of course, the colour and length of the profiles can be individually adapted to the door.

NR-32 UniSafe® T2A

- fastening of the retaining strip with adhesive strips to the glass door with glass substructure above the hinges. Factory notching in the area of the hinges
- for pivot hinges with an installation height ≤ 10mm for example Dorma PT10/ PT20

NR-32 UniSafe® T2B
- manual glass swing door systems with a glass side panel
- fastening of the roller blind with screws on a customer-supplied underlining (recommendation: aluminium rectangular tube glued).
- optional: adhesive 5139 acrylic foam adhesive tape for glass/aluminium connections
- fastening of the retaining strip with adhesive strips to the glass door with glass substructure above the hinges. Factory notching in the area of the hinges
- for pivot hinges with an installation height ≤ 10mm for example Dorma PT10/ PT20
